quick supplemental gift ideas

my friend's birthday is today and I need to make a little handmade something to supplement her gift. and it needs to be quick.

i was thinking of maybe sewing a bandana tote bag. see instructions here. something kinda like this: although, i'm not sure if she's really a tote bag kind of person. maybe i just really want one for myself. so great for little picnics in the park.

or, she is moving into a new apartment and I was thinking of sewing up this quick and funny two handed vintage oven mitt thing. its a big long wrap-around ovenmitt that you put both hands in. ALTHOUGH, again, she doesn't cook and probably wouldn't use it. maybe it's something, again, that i really want.

or...I may just make her a crochet skull.
