tie one on.

so, even though i actually made these a long time ago, i finally got them up into my online shop. more to come....

i created this one partially from a pattern (to get the 50s style main piece apron shape). but then added on the ruffled edge. i'm thinking of maybe adding a little pocket on the future ones.

this one is actually pretty neat. it was made from a 40s pattern, and the brown that you see on the inside is actually a pocket the size of the entire apron. you can keeps lots and lots of stuff in there. the pattern was a bit difficult to follow, seeing as how women of the 40s were probably much more adept at sewing and didn't need much instruction. seriously, there was one picture and four steps to make this thing. i vote no pictures and one step, 'make apron.'
